Windows 98 still supported by Microsoft, not ended
Microsoft announced it will continue to support the Windows 98 operating system. Many people in developing countries are still using windows 98.
Support for Windows 98 and Windows 98 SE was scheduled to end on Friday, January 16 2004. Windows Me support was scheduled to end December 31, 2004.
Microsoft has now decided to change their previous decision and to extend support for Windows 98, Windows 98 SE and Windows Millennium Edition (Me) through June 30, 2006.
