The new Sound Blaster Live! solutions feature support for EAX multi-environments in PC and console gaming, and deliver twice the audio quality and clarity as basic 16-bit integrated PC audio. Creative also announced immediate availability the new Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Value, delivering up to 106db SNR (signal-to-noise ratio) and ASIO 2.0 support for 24-bit/96kHz multi-channel recording directly to MP3.

Priced at only US$29.99, the Sound Blaster Live! provides a dramatic upgrade over motherboard audio. Anyone who enjoys music, movies or games on the PC can appreciate its 100dB SNR, which is nearly twice the quality and clarity of host audio. In addition, 24-bit EAX 3.0 ADVANCED HD support and connectivity for up to a 7.1 speaker system provide gamers with an audio advantage not available with any integrated solution. The Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit internal card also offers a suite of EAX Acoustic Enhancements such as audio clean-up, bass boost, equalizer, and smart volume management.
