Intel Celeron processors at 1.7 and 1.4 GHz
Intel raised the bar for value PCs with two new Intel Celeron processors. These desktop processors represent Intel's fastest offering for the price-sensitive desktop value PC market segment.
The Intel Celeron processors at 1.7 and 1.4 GHz deliver the right combination of features and frequency at a variety of price points for the value desktop market segment.
The Intel Celeron processor at 1.7 GHz is based on the 0.18-micron process technology and features a 400 MHz front side bus. The Intel Celeron processor at 1.4 GHz is based on the 0.13-micron process technology and features a 100 MHz front side bus.
In 1,000-unit quantities, the desktop Intel Celeron processor at 1.7 GHz is priced at $83 and the 1.4 GHz is priced at $89.
